Walls & Trusses & Sheeting…oh my!!

It’s been qutie a long time since my last post in regards to the shop…and quite a bit has happened!

Like…a ton really.

We officially have a building!  I can actually walk *into* my room – soon to be photography studio – and do some real designing.  Talk about a dream realized…it’s way bigger than I thought it would be!  (But still small by some people’s standards I’m sure.)

What’s really important though, is that the hubby has his garage.  His shop.  His space.

Ask him, and he will tell you that it doesn’t take me long to completely invade and take over a room.  Even in our existing garage right now, if you look anywhere, you can see crap…ahem…stuff…of mine.

Now, he’s going to have a space to make his own.  If he wants to pick up some used nasty couch off the side of the road, and set it in front of a barely working TV – he can do that!  If he wants to paint the sheeting lime green and hang all his antlers and pelts on the wall, more power to him.

So take note ladies…you get some serious points for supporting the building of a shop.  SERIOUS points.  🙂

Ahhh…A Day in The Life…

That is quite the shop! I’m sure it will be wonderful when it’s all done. I won’t be able to show this to my fiance though beause he’ll be jealous, especially since we just got a house that has no room for shop, but it does have a 2 car garage and large shed. That should be good right? 🙂 Can’t wait to see it when it’s all done!

    • A 2 car garage and large shed is much more than we started with! (Try no garage, and no room for one on the first house we bought!) So he’s very lucky! 🙂 You and the hubby will have to come out to the house when it’s all done and christen it with us!
